These Terms govern access to SyntheticUser Lab, including the website, prototype testing workflow, synthetic persona generation, reports, checkout, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Service purpose

SyntheticUser Lab provides AI-assisted usability and product validation workflows. Synthetic personas and reports are decision-support tools. They are not a guarantee of conversion, usability, accessibility compliance, market demand, revenue, funding, or product success.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of materials you submit, including prototype links, URLs, screenshots, tasks, research prompts, and team content. You must not submit content you do not have rights to use, malicious code, credentials, payment card data, or unlawful material.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, attempt unauthorized access, overload infrastructure, reverse engineer restricted systems, interfere with other users, or use generated output to deceive people into believing synthetic responses are real participant testimony.

AI outputs and limitations

AI-generated personas, simulated paths, sentiment, heatmaps, and recommendations can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, applying professional judgment, and using human research, analytics, expert review, or legal advice where the decision requires it.

Plans, billing, and payment

Plan prices are shown before checkout. Annual billing is discounted when selected. Payments are processed through NOWPayments, and crypto network confirmation times may vary. Access may begin after payment status is confirmed or otherwise approved.

Refunds and cancellations

Unless required by law, completed digital-service payments are generally non-refundable once a plan has been provisioned or substantial service usage has occurred. We may review refund requests for duplicate payments, clear technical failure, or accidental unused purchases if contacted within 7 days. Approved refunds may be reduced by network fees, payment processor fees, chargeback costs, discounts, taxes, or unrecoverable third-party costs.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, limits, pricing, provider integrations, models, and reports may change over time. We may suspend access for security, abuse, non-payment, legal risk, or operational reasons.

Intellectual property

The service, website, software, design, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. Users retain rights to their submitted content, subject to the rights needed for us to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.

Confidentiality and sensitive data

The service is not intended for highly sensitive or regulated data unless covered by a separate written agreement. Users should anonymize research material and avoid submitting confidential customer records, secrets, credentials, or regulated personal data.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
